Junior Farmers' Discovery Week at Wroxham Barns

Join us this May Half-Term (25th May to 2nd June) for a week of family fun at our Junior Farmers' Discovery Week - a fun, cute experience designed to bring families closer to animals and the heart of farm life on Junior Farm. This exciting event is perfect for those eager to meet and learn about our farm animals and engage in hands-on Junior Farm activities. Children can have a go at mucking out our animal barn, bottle-feeding the calves, dressing up as a vet and grooming our friendly ponies… there’s an adventure around every corner. 

You’ll work your way around the farm enjoying our themed activities, collecting our FARMING STAMPS ready for the children to earn their official ‘Junior Farmer badge’. It’s a week where education meets excitement, hands-on learning meets happiness, and families connect with the farm like never before. 

🐴 Groom the ponies and learn the ins and outs of daily animal care including keeping their coats groomed.

🍼 Bottle feed the calves and learn about what the animals eat and how to feed them.

🪴 Discover what we grow in our Field of Fun on Junior Farm. Plant your own seeds and take them home and watch them grow.

🧹 Keep the farm clean and and make sure the animals have fresh bedding - muck out our little animal barn.

👩🏼‍⚕️ Become a vet! Learn how vets care for farm animals. Dress up as a vet and discover the veterinary tools they use.

🚜 Tractor adventures - take a spin on our mini tractors around the track and learn about the machinery that keeps a farm running.
